Jabriel Purnell, a 23-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on October 21, 2021, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At around 6:20 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call on the 900 block of North 11th Street and found Jabriel lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital later that evening.
