In the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, on the night of February 9, 2024, the life of 15-year-old Duvan Dennis was tragically cut short. A Black male, Duvan was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 2900 block of Ruth Street at approximately 9:25 p.m. Responding Philadelphia Police officers acted quickly, transporting him to Temple University Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead at 9:42 p.m.
