In the early morning hours of New Year's Eve 2021, the life of 29-year-old Christopher William Oakes, a White male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Philadelphia. At approximately 1:55 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021, police responded to a call on the 3000 block of A Street. There, they discovered Christopher lying in the street, having been shot in the back. Paramedics arrived at the scene, but his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
