On March 21, 2023, at approximately 2:21 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call on the 100 block of North Yewdall Street, where they discovered 40-year-old Keith Fletcher, also known as Hysan Smith, lying unresponsive in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. The officers immediately transported him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Despite the medical team's efforts, Keith Fletcher was pronounced dead at 4:34 p.m.
