On September 16, 2023, at approximately 12:14 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 7300 block of North 19th Street in the West Oak Lane neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old Andre Tyrik-Lamont Moore Jr. lying in a driveway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
