Xiao-Ding Li, a 31-year-old male of Chinese ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed on January 7, 2020, while working at his father's store, JD Hoyu Grocery, located on the 900 block of Porter Street in South Philadelphia. Li was behind the counter at around 5:48 p.m. when two masked men entered the store. One of the men pulled out a gun and fired at Li, striking him in the chest.
