In the evening of October 5, 2020, a 17-year-old Black male named Lamont Brown was shot on the 5600 block of Langdon Street in Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Brown with a gunshot wound to his head.

The responding officers transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment. Despite their efforts, Lamont Brown succumbed to his injuries and died later that evening. He had been a residen ...
