In the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia, a visit to a friend's home turned tragic for Andre Adams, a 29-year-old Black man. On the cold winter day of February 3, 2016, the course of many lives was irrevocably altered by a sudden act of violence. While inside the residence, an unknown man, described as a Black male in his 20s, brazenly walked in through a door that had been left unlocked.
