On the evening of Saturday, July 15, 2023, at approximately 10:06 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 3000 block of Page Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 43-year-old Lamar Alston lying in the street at the intersection of 30th and Page Streets, suffering from gunshot wounds. The officers immediately transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
