Thaj Nance-Parker, a 16-year-old from Aiken, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on December 3, 2021. Thaj was a student at Aiken High School and was known for his involvement in the community and his dedication to his studies. On the evening of his death, Thaj was working at a McDonald's located on York Street in Aiken. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the fast-food restaurant, where he was fatally shot in the chest with a Glock 17 9mm firearm.
