On June 15, 2023, 23-year-old Lloyd Widener III was fatally shot at a residence on Old Friar Road in Aiken County, South Carolina. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 3 p.m. and discovered Widener unresponsive near the stairs of the home; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
