In the early morning hours of September 24, 2021, a tragic event unfolded within the walls of an Aiken, South Carolina, apartment, forever altering the lives of the Seward family. John Fitzgerald Seward Sr., a 55-year-old male, was found deceased in his home, the victim of a violent outburst that would claim multiple family members. The residence, located at The Boundary at Silver Bluff Apartments, became a scene of profound sorrow and investigation.
Authorities were first alerted to the
unfolding tragedy by a report of gunshots shortly after 1:00 a.m. Responding officers from the Aiken Department of Public Safety arrived at a chaotic scene.
