Death by Force

Carl Donnelle Boyd, a 27-year-old resident of Aiken, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on December 20, 2018. Boyd was shot to death by one of two burglars who knocked on his door at his residence on Cherokee Street. According to authorities, Boyd answered the door and was immediately shot by one of the assailants, who were both covered from head to toe. Despite being transported to Aiken Regional Medical Center, Boyd was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
