In the quiet community of Aiken, South Carolina, a life was tragically cut short on a Sunday afternoon in March of 2018. Laketia Boyd, a 23-year-old woman, was fatally shot on March 25th in an incident that also left a male companion injured. The Aiken County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Boyd deceased in a vehicle that had gone off the road.
