On December 9, 2019, 45-year-old Kevin Ray Winburn of Aiken, South Carolina, was fatally shot at his residence on Wire Road. The incident stemmed from a dispute with a neighbor that escalated into a physical altercation. Responding to reports of the disturbance, deputies from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene and found Mr. Winburn deceased from at least one gunshot wound.
