On a cold January day in Philadelphia, the lives of two men were tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence. Roy Caban, a 42-year-old man, was inside the Al Madinah Traders store in the Germantown neighborhood on January 28, 2021, when a man entered and opened fire. Caban was shot twice in the face and died at the scene. Another man, 50-year-old Eric Flores, was also shot and killed during the incident. Their bodies were discovered by a passer-by.
