On a Friday night in June of 2020, violence once again found 51-year-old Byron Johnson of West Oak Lane. Just after 11 p.m. on June 19th, authorities were called to a property on the 5500 block of Bloyd Street in the East Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. There, inside a doorway, they discovered Mr. Johnson, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his head.
