On a Monday afternoon in Philadelphia, what began as an ordinary day ended in tragedy for 33-year-old Stephen Young. The Black male was outside the Arrott Transportation Center in the Frankford section of the city on March 25, 2024, when gunfire erupted. The incident, which unfolded around 4:50 p.m. on the 1500 block of Arrott Street, left Young with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
