On March 25, 2024, at approximately 4:50 p.m., 33-year-old Stephen Young was fatally shot at the Arrott Transportation Center, a SEPTA station located on the 1500 block of Arrott Street in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood. Responding officers found Young with a gunshot wound to the chest; he was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:17 p.m.
