Tarvus Gainer, a 28-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on March 24, 2016, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was found shot on Montier Street in Wilkinsburg, and later succumbed to his injuries at UPMC Mercy Hospital. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office reported that he died from a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
