In the late summer of 2018, the life of 18-year-old Khalil Andrew Logan, an African American male, was cut tragically short in a violent encounter within an abandoned building in Wilkinsburg, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On the evening of September 10th, first responders were dispatched to a report of a shooting and discovered Logan with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
