On the evening of April 4, 2017, a tragedy began to unfold on the 2000 block of Bridge Street in Philadelphia that would cut short the life of a young man. Harold Aiken, a 23-year-old African American male, was shot in the head and hand at approximately 9:15 PM. The violence of the act left him with critical injuries.

Immediately following the shooting, emergency services rushed Harold to Aria Hospital Torresdale. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, the damage was too severe. Harold ...
