Nakir Sylvester, a 19-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on June 17, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA. He was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 600 block of Brooklyn Street around 1:12 p.m. Despite being rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Nakir succumbed to his injuries later that afternoon. The incident occurred in broad daylight, and the motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.
