Zondel Carter, a 31-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life in Philadelphia on November 22, 2021. He was found suffering from gunshot wounds on the 7100 block of Ogontz Avenue around 7:20 p.m. Despite being rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment, he succumbed to his injuries later that evening. The incident marked Philadelphia's 497th homicide of the year.
