On July 21, 2023, at approximately 11:03 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call on the 5500 block of Lansdowne Avenue in West Philadelphia. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Ryan Demarcus Latimore lying unresponsive in front of a residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Officers immediately transported him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where, despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead later that evening.
