Marquez Houston, a 16-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on November 5, 2017, in Philadelphia, PA. At approximately 12:13 a.m., Philadelphia Police Officers responded to a call on the 2700 block of North 19th Street and found Marquez lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his head. Despite immediate medical attention, Marquez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
