On the afternoon of April 11, 2019, tragedy struck in Philadelphia when 29-year-old Raymond Grimes III was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. on the 800 block of West Somerset Street in the Fairhill neighborhood. Grimes was walking to his parked car when an individual wearing black clothing and a mask began chasing him and opened fire.
