In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 30, 2024, a tragedy unfolded in Philadelphia that cut short the life of Corey Coston, a 39-year-old Black/African American man. At approximately 3:51 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Castor Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Corey Coston suffering from gunshot wounds.
