On March 30, 2024, at approximately 3:51 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 3800 block of Castor Avenue in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia. Upon arrival, they discovered 39-year-old Corey Coston lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Emergency medical personnel transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
