Jerry Brooks, a 28-year-old resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was tragically killed in the early hours of April 21, 2016. At around 12:01 a.m., Philadelphia Police Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of South 58th Street after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arriving, they found Jerry Brooks with a gunshot wound to the head. He was immediately transported to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries later that morning.
