On a summer afternoon in Philadelphia, on Sunday, July 5, 2020, Abdul Lamar Davis, a 43-year-old Black male, was found shot to death. The incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. on the 2300 block of Croskey Street.

Responding Philadelphia Police officers discovered Mr. Davis lying on the ground behind a blue 2009 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. The vehicle was still running with the keys in the ignition and the passenger side sliding door was open. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds a ...
