Jhalil Washington, a 27-year-old male from North Philadelphia, was tragically murdered in the early morning hours of January 16, 2018. At approximately 12:27 a.m., Philadelphia Police Officers responded to a call at the 800 block of North 12th Street, where they found Jhalil lying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to Hahnemann University Hospital, but despite medical efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
