The incident, which occurred at approximately 9:19 p.m., resulted in four people being shot. Allford was struck by the gunfire and found lying in the street by responding Philadelphia Police officers. He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, but tragically, he did not survive his injuries.

The shooting that claimed Kenyon Allford's life also resulted in the death of another victim, 22-year-old Dawn Boyd, who succumbed to her injuries the following day. Two other men, aged 21 and 35, were also wounded in the attack but survived. Detectives believe the victims were targeted with automatic assault weapons, though the motive behind the shooting remains unclear to investigators.
