On June 22, 2023, at approximately 2:04 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 700 block of East Locust Avenue in the city's Germantown section. Upon arrival, officers discovered three individuals suffering from multiple gunshot wounds: 12-year-old Laron Williams, 30-year-old Khalif Chambers, and 47-year-old Riley Darden. All three victims were transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead by medical personnel.
