On the evening of September 5, 2017, at approximately 7:05 p.m., 24-year-old Elijah Burgess was fatally shot in the 3000 block of North 25th Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, officers found Elijah suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
