In the late spring of 2013, the life of a North Carolina family was irrevocably changed when 28-year-old Martin Javier Trinidad vanished. On May 11, 2013, Martin was last seen leaving his apartment complex on Motor Road in Winston-Salem. A Hispanic male with black hair, brown eyes, and a distinctive scar on the left side of his chin from an ax, Martin was at a stage of life where the future should have been stretching out before him.
