Joseph Toms, a 33-year-old White male, tragically lost his life on October 28, 2020, in Philadelphia, PA. He was shot and killed while waiting for a parking spot outside his home on South Bouvier Street in South Philadelphia. Surveillance footage showed two masked suspects approaching Toms' white work van and firing into it, hitting him in the chest.
He was transported to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Philadelphia Police Department has been investigating the case, but it remains unsolved. The suspects were described as wearing dark-colored sweatshirts and pants, with one of them having a brightly colored logo on their sweatshirt. They were also seen operating a white sedan with dark rims, tinted windows, and a dented front left panel. The City of Philadelphia has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
