Jemeel McCoy, a 42-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on January 2, 2022, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was shot on the 2500 block of North 28th Street at around 9:23 p.m. Responding officers found him lying in the street and immediately rushed him to Temple University Hospital, but despite their efforts, McCoy succumbed to his injuries early the next morning.
