In the city of Philadelphia, on the first of May in 2014, the life of 21-year-old Shaquille Hall, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. His body, wrapped in a red bedsheet and secured with duct tape, was discovered by several children playing in a narrow, debris-strewn alley behind the 2500 block of North 11th Street. The grim discovery just after 6 p.m. that Thursday evening would unravel a story of jealousy and violence.
An autopsy later revealed that Hall had died from multiple gunshot wounds, including fatal injuries to his head and chest.
The investigation into the death of Shaquille Hall led authorities to a man named Raheem Robinson. It was revealed that Robinson was romantically involved with a woman named Sakinah Wyatt. In a fit of rage upon finding Hall at Wyatt's house, Robinson fatally shot him. In an attempt to conceal his crime, Robinson cleaned the scene and disposed of Hall's body in the nearby alleyway.
