Jerry Gooden, a 32-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on November 12, 2020, in Philadelphia, PA. He was fatally shot on the 1100 block of West Somerset Street around 11:32 p.m. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene, they found Jerry suffering from gunshot wounds to his neck and back. Despite being rushed to Temple University Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries later that afternoon.
