Jahyde Gardiner, a 26-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life in Philadelphia on March 21, 2021. At around 9:18 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call on the 1800 block of Lindley Avenue and found Jahyde lying on the ground outside a residence. He was unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, Jahyde succumbed to his injuries that night.
