Anthony Merriett, a 55-year-old African American man from Philadelphia, PA, was tragically murdered on March 29, 2021. Merriett was working on a film about gun violence prevention when he was fatally shot outside a residence on the 1900 block of Page Street in Strawberry Mansion. He was shot multiple times and later died at Temple University Hospital.
