Carlos Viruet, a 22-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on January 17, 2018, in Philadelphia, PA. He was fatally shot while eating a sandwich at the Brilliante Mini Market on the 3300 block of North 6th Street. Police responded to the scene at around 7:05 p.m. and found Carlos lying on the floor of the store with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to Temple University Hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
