Byron Thompson, a 16-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2022, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred near Temple University on the 1600 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue just before 2 a.m. Thompson, who resided in Trenton, New Jersey, was shot in the back of the head and succumbed to his injuries. Four other individuals were injured during the shooting, but fortunately, none of their injuries were life-threatening.
