On April 17, 2022, Emmanuel Negrón, a 36-year-old male, was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Reading Plaza Supermarket in Reading, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 1:45 PM, and first responders found Negrón with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Reading Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
