In the afternoon hours of a late autumn day, a violent altercation in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania, claimed the life of 30-year-old Leonard King Jr. The incident unfolded on Monday, November 22, 2021, at approximately 1:20 p.m. in the 500 block of Penn Street. An argument between King and another male escalated, tragically culminating in gunfire. King sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. He was rushed to Reading Hospital for medical treatment but ultimately succumbed to his injuries ...
