Leonard King Jr., a 30-year-old man from Exeter Township, Reading, PA, was fatally shot on November 22, 2021. The incident occurred around 1:20 p.m. in the 500 block of Penn Street near 6th Street. According to police reports, King was involved in an altercation with 19-year-old Aeneas O'Brien, who pulled out a gun and shot him. King was later pronounced dead at Reading Hospital.
