In the winter of 2019, the life of 28-year-old Chyquel Young-Key was cut short in a fatal shooting in Reading, Pennsylvania. The incident, which marked the city's first homicide of the year, took place on the evening of Friday, January 25, 2019. Young-Key, a male resident of Reading, sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
