On April 25, 2021, 23-year-old Walner Torres-Santana, a male of Hispanic ethnicity, was fatally shot in the 300 block of Pear Street in Reading, Pennsylvania. Torres-Santana was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Reading Hospital for emergency surgery, but he succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy confirmed that he died from the gunshot wounds.
