In the summer of 2023, a day in Reading, Pennsylvania, was shattered by violence that claimed the life of a 44-year-old man. On the afternoon of July 21st, near the intersection of South 6th and Cherry Streets, Ellis Garman Sr. was discovered in his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim was rushed to Reading Hospital for emergency medical attention.
