Samuel Castillo, a 36-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on August 1, 2022, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Castillo was found with a gunshot wound in a parked vehicle on Locust Street and Greenwich Street around 12:35 a.m. He was later pronounced dead at Reading Hospital at 10:42 p.m. Castillo's death was part of a violent 24-hour period in Reading, during which two other men were also killed in separate shootings.
