Jayla English, a 28-year-old Black queer woman, tragically lost her life on August 29, 2020, in Cleveland, OH. She was fatally shot in a parking lot during an altercation involving Brittany Lynn, a 23-year-old woman, and another woman named Orniesha Levinson.
