Jermaine Cottrell Jr., a 23-year-old African American male from Cleveland, OH, tragically died on April 29, 2017, from a gunshot wound to the head. He was found on the ground on East 131st Street and Caine Avenue, being helped by a woman. According to police reports, Cottrell and two others were inside a vehicle that crashed into a building after exchanging gunfire with a man walking on the street.
